…The New Look Continues & Winter Music Conference

As I am gearing up for a new “Conference Season”, I’ve decided to remix the Deep Soul Sessions Logo. As always, there is a story behind it; I promise to keep it short.

The original designer of the logo I have been using was not open to my purchase request. I came across it online a few years ago and I wanted to use the concept for branding because the logo just reminded me of a soulful sista with locks, kind of like me. (HA)

The original designer stated she was open for royalty purchases for her images online. Anyhow, after the lack of response I realized that I could not do any branding and mass production of this image without permission. A good friend of mine has been branding for musicians and businesses as long as I’ve known her and she captured what I wanted in just one try.

Anyhow, this year at Winter Music Conference in Miami, Deep Soul Sessions and Fusicology will be teaming up with Deep House Soldiers with WMC exclusive T-Shirts! I will not be in attendance this year because I am still recovering but the true music heads will be there rocking the T’s. This gave me the branding idea for DSS. So I’m going to work on a small store so you guys can wear the gear as well. Of course stay tuned for March’s WMC Preview. I was in the lab last night getting the ingredients together for a nice podcast.
